threaddesigned is a digital design agency based in Cologne, Germany. We have been doing this since 2018, starting with brand identity work for small German businesses and growing into a studio that works on websites, app interfaces, and larger digital products.

We work with companies of varying sizes across Germany and Europe. The projects differ but the approach does not: understand the problem before deciding on the solution, agree on direction in writing before starting design, and hold the timeline.

Cologne is a good city to run a design agency. There is a strong creative and advertising industry here, but it is not Berlin, which means clients tend to be pragmatic about budget and results. We have adapted to that.

All work is delivered digitally. We work with clients across Europe regularly, including clients in the Netherlands, Switzerland, and the UK. The project process works the same regardless of location.
